In the early days of home ownership I had NO IDEA what it took to create a home that looked cohesive and felt cozy. Throw in the extra challenge of owning a home full of hand-me-downs and the task of decorating my home felt impossible. 

 

Little by little I began experimenting - first with paint, then with products (thrifted of course) and I knew I was on to something when friends started asking me for advice. It was a real shocker when they said my advice was worth payment!

So I did what any teacher does, I didn't just DO the decorating for them, I invited them in on the process, teaching them along the way.

One friend, turned into two. Two friends turned into a private Facebook Group and it was while teaching in the group that I recognized the idea that A LOT more women would benefit from what I was teaching.

It was then that the fig & farm (at home) podcast was born!
